Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

When it was founded in 1984, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) embarked upon a mission to preserve vital elk habitats and increase total populations across the country. The RMEF accomplishes this through land acquisitions and donations, access and conservation easements, and by funding various population restoration projects. ALPS OutdoorZ is proud to support RMEF in its Access Elk Country Initiative, the Hunting Is Conservation Program, and other projects to conserve the species, their habitat, and hunters.

Whitetails Unlimited

Founded in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited is a national nonprofit conservation organization that has remained true to its mission and has made great strides in the field of conservation. We have gained the reputation of being the nation's premier organization dedicating our resources to the betterment of the white-tailed deer and its environment.

With one of the largest and most active chapters in the country in Washington, MO, which is also our local chapter, ALPS OutdoorZ enjoys partnering with them, and the national office, to support their conservation and hunter recruitment efforts.

Pheasants Forever

In 1982, a group of pheasant hunters saw the connection between upland habitat loss and declining pheasant populations. An organization dedicated to wildlife habitat conservation was needed, and Pheasants Forever was formed. Pheasants Forever's mission work quickly garnered it a reputation as "The Habitat Organization," a tagline the nonprofit conservation group uses proudly to this day.

Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.

Quail Forever

In 2005, in response to continued declines in quail populations and suitable quail habitat, Pheasants Forever formed a quail division, Quail Forever. Quail Forever is dedicated to the conservation of quail, pheasants and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. The Washington, MO Quail Forever chapter is proud to host the largest QF chapter in the country, and ALPS OutdoorZ is actively involved in supporting their projects. Their spring youth day, co-hosted with the local NWTF chapter, annually gets hundreds of youth exposed to outdoor activities.

International Hunter Education Association

The International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) - USA is the professional hunter education association affiliated with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the 50-state fish and hunter education programs. The programs employ 55,000 instructors, many of whom are volunteers, that teach hunting and shooting safety and responsibilities throughout the United States. ALPS OutdoorZ is proud to be a charter member of their affiliate program, HunterConnect, aimed at educating new outdoorsmen and women to a variety of hunting and outdoor topics.

Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation

The Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation, Inc. (QUWF) was formed in 2009 and is the only Disabled American Veteran Founded and managed Wildlife Conservation organization in the U.S. Based in Missouri, it is the only national wildlife organization headquartered in Missouri.

Further, it is the only:

  1. Multi-species organization, meaning QUWF supports local chapter interests across the U.S. in any upland game or fisheries work desired by its local chapters. From deer and elk, to quail, chukar, grouse, pheasant, rabbit and dove to brown trout, rainbow trout, bass and other species.
  2. QUWF is the only conservation organization that ensures its chapters and members perform "turning-the-dirt" wildlife habitat projects or pond and stream projects on their lands, lands of neighbors or public lands.
  3. Conservation organization to provide controlled burn insurance, with an official burn plan, for its members and chapters in the U.S.
Ducks Unlimited

Ducks Unlimited is the world's leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation.

Ducks Unlimited got its start in 1937 during the Dust Bowl when North America's drought-plagued waterfowl populations had plunged to unprecedented lows. Determined not to sit idly by as the continent's waterfowl dwindled beyond recovery, a small group of sportsmen joined together to form an organization that became known as Ducks Unlimited. Its mission: habitat conservation.

National Wild Turkey Federation

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of dedicated work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys thanks to the tremendous efforts of our dedicated volunteers, professional staff and committed partners.

The mission of the National Wild Turkey Federation is no less urgent today than when it was founded in 1973. What we do in the coming decades will be instrumental in not only enhancing wild turkey populations but also in the continuation of hunting and quality wildlife habitat for countless species.

Quality Deer Management Association

Since 1988, the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) has worked to promote sustainable, high-quality deer populations, wildlife habitats and ethical hunting experiences through research, education, advocacy, and hunter recruitment. QDMA teaches deer hunters how to improve local deer populations, habitat and hunting experiences.

To enhance the fun and excitement of deer hunting, QDMA encourages the protection of most or all yearling (1½-year-old) bucks combined with an appropriate harvest of does, when necessary, to maintain a healthy population in balance with habitat conditions and hunter desires.

Delta Waterfowl

Delta Waterfowl is The Duck Hunters Organization, a leading conservation group founded at the famed Delta Marsh in Manitoba, with its U.S. Headquarters in Bismarck, North Dakota. We work to produce ducks through intensive management programs and conservation of breeding duck habitat. Delta conducts vital waterfowl research, and promotes and protects the continuing tradition of waterfowl hunting in North America.

Sportsmen's Alliance

For the past 40 years, the Sportsmen's Alliance has been one of the top political advocates for hunting and conservation in the country. The SA created the Sportsmen's Legal Defense Fund, one of the only political entities with the sole purpose of defending hunters' rights in court. It also created the Families Afield program and the Trailblazer Adventure Program, both highly successful initiatives meant to educate and train inexperienced hunters to become stewards of the practice. Through its programs and political work, it's easy to see why the SA calls itself "the number one defender of sportsmen across the country."

Shoot Like A Girl

Shoot Like A Girl was established in 2008, and launched in 2019 with a mission to grow the number of women who participate in shooting sports by empowering them with confidence. The first five years focused on archery. The concept was if women could try to shoot a bow, they would love the feeling they get from shooting and join the sport. They developed a process called Test Shots™, and in five years Shoot Like A Girl put bows in the hands of nearly 3,500 women and grew the number of women archers!

December 2013, Shoot Like a Girl added Firearms Test Shots™ where women can shoot a 9mm pistol, .223 rifle with the use of a military grade firearms simulation system and they continued their Test Flights™ program with a live archery range. The trailer highlights the fact that shooting sports is a viable option for people with physical challenges and/or regardless of physical fitness level.

National Deer Alliance

The mission of the National Deer Alliance (NDA) is to serve as the guardian of wild deer conservation (white-tailed deer, mule deer, black-tailed deer, coues deer, and Key deer), and our hunting heritage. Formally incorporated in May 2015, the NDA is driven to assemble and unite a diverse group of stakeholders that includes hunters, managers, and the hunting industry to help create positive outcomes for deer and deer hunting.

Kniestedt Foundation

What began as one man's vision to help the community around him has blossomed into a foundation committed to helping our nation's heroes recognize and achieve their full potential as they return to civilian life. James Kniestedt, a veteran of United States Army Special Forces, has gone through intense combat and has seen the sacrifice of our brave service men and women. Forced to retire due to combat related injuries, he has dedicated a large portion of his time to those who have and are currently serving our nation and their families overcome the challenges of everyday life.

The Kniestedt Foundation is based in Texas. Our programs are open to all veterans of the United States Armed Forces and those currently serving. We work with the U.S. Government, Veterans Affairs, and other organizations to help improve quality of life for those who have and are currently serving our great nation. Our foundation also provides additional personal support as needed.

She Hunts

The She Hunts Skills Camp was formed to give women the opportunity to develop skills and build confidence in themselves as hunters in the outdoors. Our 4-day comprehensive course takes place at a beautiful ranch in Texas where we cover everything a hunter needs to know from start to finish to be successful on a hunt. We begin with mounting a scope on a rifle and sighting in a firearm and move to introductory archery technique before advancing to stalking taught by a Navy Seal. We have industry professionals teaching every skill. Every camp varies slightly to keep our ladies coming back camp after camp. Each camp covers everything a hunter needs to get out in the field including field dressing, butchering, wild game cooking and much much more. The courses are fun, hands on and informative. The ladies that attend take home a swag bag filled with hunting gear like a backpack from Alps that is specifically designed for women! They also get an entire set of gear and plenty of supplies to go into that pack. The goal is to get them set up to take their new skills straight out into the field to start hunting!

Hands of a Sportsman

During the filming of the television show Pass'n It On Outdoors, which features hunts by people with disabilities, the show creators wondered if they could help others that would not otherwise be able to get in the outdoors without help. The non-profit organization Hands of a Sportsman was created to do just that. Over the years, Hands of a Sportsman has helped change lives by connecting hundreds of people with the outdoors.

Wounded Warriors United

Wounded Warriors United was founded by Thomas Tavtigian also a wounded warrior. While deployed in Iraq Thomas was on a routine patrol, when his vehicle ran over an IED. It is estimate that the pressure plate IED consisted of 75lbs of HME (homemade explosive).

Over the course of the next few years Thomas went thru more than 17 surgeries. During that time Thomas met many wounded warriors. To witness some of these wounded warriors and the injuries they sustained was life changing.

Thomas wanted to give back and still serve in some way. That's when he came up with Wounded Warriors United. Giving back to those who gave so much.
